To remove Saniderm, find an edge of the bandage and pull it away from itself.
The shower is the ideal place to remove Saniderm.
Running water will help loosen the adhesive and relax the skin, making the removal much more comfortable.
Dry removal of Saniderm may cause discomfort and added trauma to the skin.
Discard the used bandage and wash the tattoo with a mild soap, preferably fragrance-free.
Allow the tattoo to air dry or pat dry with a clean towel. If desired, apply a thin layer of aftercare product to your tattoo.

Remove bandage after 1 hour, avoid removing bandage in public spaces. Bandage can stay on up to 3 hours to give you time to get home.
Remove bandage and wash hands with warm soapy water, wash tattoo thoroughly and air dry, or pat dry with paper towel.
Allow to air dry fully and let your tattoo breathe for the first 24 hours, washing with soap and warm water 3-4 times per day or as needed.
On day 2 you may begin the use of a mild, non medicated ointment or lotion. Making sure to wash off any old lotion or ointment before applying a new layer.
Wash your tattoo after going to the gym or doing anything that would cause it to become dirty. However it is a good idea to skip the gym for at least the first 2-3 days after getting tattooed. All bodies of water including your bath tubs are not safe until your tattoo is healed. (10-14 days)
Do not pick or pull on any flaking skin, or scabbing that may form, and do not wear clothing that rubs on the area that was just tattooed.Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to the sun. Once healed you can apply sunscreen, or wear protective clothing.
If a touch-up is necessary, Please reach out as soon as your tattoo is fully healed (4-6 weeks.)Touch ups are $20, within the first 3 months. After 3 months the minimum $150 charge or hourly rates may apply.
During the aftercare process if you experience any symptoms of infection such as excessive redness, swelling, pain, or discharge please contact your doctor right away.
